Vigil for the Homeless Woman who Died from Exposure
TODAY. Come out for First they came for the homeless' 24-hour vigil for the homeless people who have died in our streets this year. The vigil comes after reports that a homeless woman's body was found near Berkeley High on Saturday. The woman's name has not yet been released. Press conference will begin around 5pm, and candles will be lit at 6pm. The vigil will take place at new city hall, 2180 Milvia Street, Berkeley.
UPDATE: We learned the identity of the woman. We will keep Laura Jadwin in our hearts.
