Black Lives Matter Vigil & Healing Circle

Following the common and accepted extra-judicial killings of Black Bodies in this country, many Black students and community members are mourning alongside the family members who’ve lost their loved ones. Due to the traumatizing and triggering experiences, images and videos of the violence imposed on the Black Population, this Monday July 11th @ 4:30 PM, a vigil, supported by the Black Faculty and Staff Organization, Senator Zaynab's office and African American Student Development Office, will take place for the individuals taken too soon with an open mic followed by a healing circle in the Multicultural Community Center with food and refreshments. While conducting the vigil, the MCC will be open for anyone that needs to hold space alone, journal, pray, etc.
