Case Update - Justice 4 Kayla Moore
Gathering today outside of the SF courtroom where Kayla's Moore's family was up against "our" City of Berkeley's motion to have their case dismissed.
The outcome is... that the Judge will postpone the case and prolong his decision on whether or not to dismiss the Moore family's case. On October 17th - originally the trial start date - there will be a "status conference" on the motion to dismiss. So, we'll bee back then!
Here's hoping that that our community presence brought some humanity to the cold halls of the so-called "justice" system. Thank you to those who spoke for calling on us to remember that we as a community have to make our OWN justice.
